What is the deadline for filing a personal injury lawsuit?

The general rule in Tennessee is that you have one year from the date you are injured to bring a lawsuit against the responsible parties. Unfortunately there are exceptions to that rule. Some of those exceptions give you more time to file a case and some of those exceptions can actually give you less time to file a case.

It all depends on the type of case you have and the type of product or medical device involved.
