At the Law Offices of John Day, our lawyers endeavor to impart their knowledge to others in a number of ways. Our attorneys frequently lecture at seminars, publish articles in legal journals, write books on various aspects of the law, and we also write two blogs: Day on Torts and Tennessee Injury Law Center.
Day on Torts is designed to help other lawyers by reviewing new appellate decisions and statutes which impact tort law, evidence or civil procedure. Occasionally, Day on Torts will also cover law practice management issues.
On the other hand, Tennessee Injury Law Center is for the legal consumer. Our goal with the Tennessee Injury Law Center blog is to help someone who has recently been injured understand the basic issues surrounding their case. For example, we have written several articles on what to do following an accident, what the deadlines are for filing a case in Tennessee, how to find the right injury lawyer for your case, etc. We also try to offer practical guidance on topics such as helping your teenage driver be safe, how dog owners can protect themselves in the event their dog bites someone, etc.
Of course, a blog post can only convey so much information and folks often have additional questions. This is why at the Law Offices of John Day, we offer a free consultation. We understand folks do not want to spend a lot of money to talk to a lawyer only to find out they do not have a valid case. Or even if they know they have a good case, they do not want to pay any money out-of-pocket to try and get money for their injuries.
So just give us a call. We will review your case, answer your questions and advise you of your legal options for no charge. If we think we can help you and you decide to hire us, we handle all accident cases on a contingency basis, which means we only get paid if we win. And, unlike a lot of law firms who still require the client to pay the case expenses, we advance case expenses. So you do not have to pay a dime out-of-pocket to pursue your case.
