COVID-19 Update: How We Are Serving and Protecting Our Clients
Thank you so much for your interest in our law firm. We hope this email finds you, your family, and your co-workers safe and healthy. During this difficult time, we wanted to update you on our response to COVID-19.Are you open?
Yes, we are open. However, we moved the vast majority of our employees off-site at the outset of the pandemic. Fortunately, our case management system allows us to access case data and documents remotely, enabling us to continue to serve our clients from anywhere. Likewise, we offer clients the ability to have settlement proceeds deposited into their checking or savings accounts, thus increasing convenience and eliminating the need for personal contact. How can I communicate with you during this time?
All forms of communication are open. Margaret Stephens, our dynamite receptionist, is still fielding calls. Our lawyers are available via phone, text and email. And, we have a Zoom account so we can video conference with you anytime. Are you accepting new clients?
Yes. Our intake system also allows our intake staff to work remotely, and permits our clients to sign agreements and other documents electronically. As always, you can reach us at one of our three office locations, our toll-free number or you can fill out this online form and we will call you.
- Nashville: (615) 669-3993
- Murfreesboro: (615) 867-9900
- Brentwood: (615) 742-4880
- Toll-Free: (866) 812-8787
We offer a free consultation so you can find out if we think we can help. If you hire us, we handle all accident cases on a contingency basis. How do I get updates about my case?
Our lawyers are available just as they were before the COVID 19 outbreak with the exception of in-person meetings (unless necessary). What about scheduled court appearances?
The Tennessee Supreme Court has suspended in-person court appearances except in rare circumstances. However, judges are still hearing matters via phone and video-conferencing, so motions, pre-trials, discovery disputes, etc. can still be heard. Trials have been continued until it is safe to resume. Will depositions and mediations go forward?
Those are being decided on a case-by-case basis depending upon the totality of the circumstances. If you have questions about a deposition or mediation you have scheduled, please contact our office.
Rest assured, we are still here for injury victims and our existing clients. We look forward to when we can meet face-to-face again, but we are still at hard at work for you.
