School Bus Accidents

Approximately 480,000 school buses transport 26.0 million children to elementary and secondary school each year, and the buses they ride typically do not have seat belts. This creates a recipe for disaster when a school bus is involved in a crash. Tragically, 12,000 children per year are injured in school bus accidents and slightly more than 100 people are killed.
