Grundy County, Tennessee

Grundy County, Altamont, TN Injury Attorneys

For more than four decades, our award-winning and nationally-recognized lawyers have been privileged to represent the injured residents of Altamount, Beersheba Springs, Coalmont, Greutli-Laager, Monteagle, Palmer, Tracy City and all of Grundy County. Unlike a lot of firms who handle all types of cases, our focus is civil litigation and personal injury and wrongful death cases. We do not handle real estate cases, criminal matters, divorces, child custody matters, bankruptcies, corporate matters, wills or trusts, etc. By limiting our practice, we can deliver the best possible results, in the shortest possible time, to our injury clients.

We have helped thousands of injury victims in all types of cases including medical malpractice cases, sexual abuse cases, slip and fall accidents, farm equipment accidents, carbon monoxide poisoning cases, jet ski accidents, construction accidents, bus accidents, dog bite cases, boating accidents, birth injury cases, injuries caused by defective or unreasonably dangerous products, liquor liability claims, drowning accidents, food poisoning cases, golf cart accidents, nursing home abuse and neglect cases, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, cases involving eye injuries, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, burn injuries and many others.

Car Crashes in Grundy County

Of course, a large part of our practice is car wrecks including a significant number of tractor-trailer crashes. We also handle motorcycle accidents, bus accidents and accidents involving vehicles and bicycles or pedestrians. Unfortunately, too many drivers continue to exercise bad judgment on the roadway. Texting while driving, drinking and driving, speeding and failing to obey traffic laws are just a few of the examples. In trucking accidents, too often the cause is a fatigued trucker who was driving over his permitted service hours or a truck in poor condition due to improper or shoddy maintenance.

The Tennessee Department of Safety publishes crash data for each county. From 2015 to 2019, Grundy County had the following rankings:

  • Overall Crash Rate: 53rd
  • Fatal Crash Rate: 93rd
  • Injury Crash Rate: 30th
  • Motorcycle Crash Rate: 8th
  • Alcohol-Impaired Fatality Rate: 91st
  • Alcohol-Impaired Crash Rate: 69th
  • Speeding Crash Rate: 13th
  • Young Driver (Ages 15-24) Crash Rate: 57th
  • Senior Driver (Ages 65+) Crash Rate: 67th

We understand the physical, emotional and financial burdens caused by serious accidents and we can help.

Will I Have To Go To Court?
