Recent Cases: Parrott v. Lawrence Co. Animal Welfare League, Inc., No. M2014-01241-COA-R3-CV, 2015 WL 3929600 (Tenn. Ct. App. June 25, 2015) (affirming dismissal where complaint failed to allege that employee committed negligence within scope of employment); Holder v. Shelby County, No. W2014-01910-COA-R3-CV, 2015 WL 1828015 (Tenn. Ct. App. April 21, 2015) (overturning grant of motion to dismiss where complaint alleged negligent acts committed within scope of employment); Estate of Quinn v. Henderson, No. E2013-02398-COA-R3-CV, 2014 WL 6085510 (Tenn. Ct. App. Nov. 13, 2014) (summary judgment for fire department and 911 upheld where both presented evidence that they acted according to procedures and therefore negated an essential element of plaintiff’s claims).
